NHS England is hosting a series of themed tweet chats. Follow @NHSEnglandSouth and show your support by retweeting to your followers and joining in the tweet chats. This is a great opportunity to be part of Call to Action across the South and help get diverse groups of patients, professionals and the public involved in a conversation to enable us to build the local vision for the future.
Thursday 8th May 2014, 12.30-1.30pm @NHSEnglandSouth #improvedentalcare
As part of Improving dental care and oral health – a call to action the NHS England Thames Valley Area Team will be holding a tweet chat to discuss ‘‘how to raise awareness of services that NHS dentists offer and how to improve dental care”
We wish to stimulate the debate around NHS dental services. Our overall aims are to improve the oral health of the population, increase access to NHS dental services and reduce financial inefficiencies.
The Call to Action is not about making unnecessary changes, or taking services away, it’s about looking at what can be provided differently to respond to the challenges facing the NHS. For example improving communication about existing services and how to access them, improving oral health and putting people in control of their own oral health and care.
The tweet chat will focus on these issues and more. A panel of experts chaired by Hugh O’Keefe. Thames Valley Area Team will answer your questions. Please do join us and the debate on Thursday 8th May 12.30-1.30pm using the hashtag # improvedentalcare https://twitter.com/NHSEnglandSouth
